PPF Group is one of the largest investment and financial groups in Central and Eastern Europe, in 2011 they decided to enter the Czech retail market with a new bank. Taking advantage of the inability of large conservative banks to respond to their clients' current needs, PPF has offered a new banking model based on simplicity, transparency and friendliness. The aim of the brief was to create as clear, simple, friendly and open design as possible.

The research of visual styles in the banking segment and the analysis of the target group resulted in a design concept that was different and unexpected in this field. The final logo is a simple typographic mark with a green slash between words, the word "air" levitates to communicate lightness and give the brand airiness. The uniqueness of Air Bank's visual identity is supported by an unusual combination of colours; fresh green and contrasting black, unprecedented in the Czech banking market. The Bank's friendliness and openness is also reflected in the slogan "You can love your bank".

Currently, Air Bank is one of the most successful banks in the market, regularly receiving awards for the Most Dynamic Bank, and in 2019, Air Bank was named the best bank in the Czech Republic.
